I’ve lived in Hangzhou for 10 years, and this is my favorite off-the-beaten-path travel route‼️

In Hangzhou, there has always been a lesser-known, beautiful route with fewer people. It’s the one that every blogger and local Hangzhou resident is reluctant to reveal. Today, I’m reluctantly sharing it! Make sure to save it!!

Route: Taiziwan Park (太子湾公园) - Yuhuwan (浴鹄湾) - Xuefang (雪舫) - Wuguitan (乌龟潭) - Maojiabu (茅家埠) - Guozhuang (郭庄) - Yunsong Bookhouse (云松书舍) - Quyuan Fenghe (曲院风荷)

✅ This route is perfect for avoiding the crowds and strolling through the backyard of West Lake. It offers peaceful surroundings all year round, with picturesque views and natural charm at every step. If you’re truly looking to get out and enjoy some scenery, trust me, this route is perfect for you!

✅ Tips for the trip:

  1. Compared to driving, I recommend taking a taxi or public transportation for convenience.
  2. The only downside to this route is that there aren’t many food options, so you’ll need to bring your own snacks.
  3. If you take your time, the trip will take about a day, but the advantage is that you can stop and go as you please.
